Bad Moms 2

Bad Moms 2 Review

Bad Moms 2, also known as A Bad Moms Christmas, is a sequel to the 2016 comedy, Bad Moms and follows the trio of overworked Moms, Amy (Mila Kunis), Kiki (Kristen Bell) and Carla (Kathryn Hahn) as they struggle to organise their family Christmases while having to deal with their common problem, their own mothers, played by Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines and Susan Sarandon.

With the pressures and stresses that come with wanting to make Christmas perfect, each of the Moms face the challenge of having to deal with their own overbearing mothers, who can’t be any more different from their daughters.

What ensues is a rather comedic struggle between two generations of Moms, with each dealing with their own ‘typical’ mother-daughter drama. Though the humour fades out and story begins to feel forced toward the end, the feel good nature of the film carries through, making it a watchable holiday film to sit back and enjoy.

Like the first film, Bad Moms 2 is a feel good film which provides mindless entertainment, perfect to ‘chill’ out to.
