New Xbox Wireless Controllers and Windows PC Accessories Announced

Microsoft has, today, announced the release of new Xbox and Windows PC accessories, which includes three new Xbox Wireless Controllers, a new smaller Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10, and two new controller bundles for PC gamers. The new Wireless Controller designs include Green/Grey, Patrol Tech Special Edition, and Volcano Shadow Special Edition.
Each controller will pair seamlessly with any Xbox One, including the newest member of the Xbox family, the Xbox One X.
For PC gamers, the new Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 is half the size of the previous Wireless Adapter design, taking up less space around your USB ports.  You can get the adapter on its own or bundled with a black Xbox Wireless Controller. Also for PC gamers, Microsoft are offering a new navy blue Patrol Tech Special Edition controller with USB cable bundled.

Xbox Wireless Controller – Green/Grey

The Xbox Wireless Controller – Green/Grey features a sleek, two-tone grey design with eye-catching green accents at the base of the thumbsticks. The controller is available for pre order for $64.99 USD at select retailers worldwide including microsoftstore.com and will start shipping August 3.

The Xbox Wireless Controller – Volcano Shadow Special Edition is the newest of the Shadow series. This controller features a matte black top case and sides that fade to a fiery red metallic finish. The buttons, triggers and D-pad have a glossy black finish with red highlights on the ABXY and menu buttons. The controller is available for pre order for $69.99 USD at select retailers worldwide including microsoftstore.com and will start shipping August 3.

The Xbox Wireless Controller – Patrol Tech Special Edition is the second controller in the Tech series and is inspired by military technology and performance patterns found in airborne navy patrol units.  Premium finishes like a laser etched texture, silver accents and insignia are on the front of the controller. The new and improved Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 enhances your controller connection when gaming on Windows 10 PCs and tablets.  It’s 66 percent smaller than the original Xbox Wireless Adapter for a smaller form factor and to fit better next to other USB devices you may have plugged in nearby. The Adapter offers wireless stereo sound support and the ability to connect up to eight controllers at once.  The new Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 will be available in select markets for $24.99 USD starting in August.  You can also choose to get the adapter bundled with the Xbox Wireless Controller for $79.99 USD.
