New Zealand’s largest public exhibition, ARMAGEDDON EXPO takes over ASB Showgrounds this weekend creating a pop culture paradise for all ages!
Opening Friday night from 6:00pm and running all day Saturday, Sunday and Monday, fans of all things pop culture will be spoilt for choice. The event features a huge line-up of Hollywood guests including, CHRISTINA RICCI (The Addams Family, Sleepy Hollow), SHANNEN DOHERTY (Heathers, Charmed), KATIE LEUNG (Harry Potter), NAVID NEGAHBAN (Homeland, Aladdin) and so many more from the worlds of film and tvTV, animation, YouTube, cosplay and beyond. Guests will be available to meet all weekend long on panels, for autographs and for professional photo opportunities.
NZ treasure RHYS DARBY will be attending the event promoting his new book, The Top Secret Undercover Notes of Buttons McGinty. Plus kiwi rock band OPENSIDE, who just last night opened up for Panic At The Disco, will be performing over the weekend at 1:00pm each day promoting their new single ‘Character Flaws’.
Attendees will be able to get hands on gaming experience on the massive activations from PlayStation, Nintendo, Logitech, ASUS and more.
