The cast of Marvel Studios’ Black Widow is expanding with David Harbour and Rachel Weisz in talks to join the cast.
Hot on the heels of Florence Pugh’s casting announcement, reports are coming in that Stranger Things‘ David Harbour, and Oscar winning actress, Rachel Weisz, are being considered for the film.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed today that Harbour has indeed been cast, while Variety mentioned that Weisz is being “circled”. Neither report have alluded to the characters these actors are being considered for. This isn’t surprising considering that very little detail about the film has been shared.
At present, all we know is that Scarlett Johannson will be reprising her role as the titular heroine, and that Pugh (who most recently starred in Fighting With My Family) will play a rival spy.
