Marvel Studios Movie Marathon – Celebrating a Decade of Cinematic History

From the epic Hulk vs Hulkbuster showdown, to Tony Stark’s memorable Iron Man reveal, and who could forget the dramatic events in Avengers: Infinity War? This August, relive all the Marvel moments that gave us goosebumps and prepare yourself for 2019’s Captain Marvel, and the next installment of the untitled Avengers film.

To celebrate the first 10 years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hoyts Cinemas are hosting an epic Marvel Studios film festival.

The Marvel Studios’ The First Ten Years festival will cover an impressive decade of Marvel Studios blockbusters released from 2008 to 2018. For one month, starting this August, selected Hoyts cinemas will be playing Marvel Studios’ most iconic films.

If it wasn’t enough that the blockbusters are returning to the big screen, at the end of each week, on Saturdays there will be a-larger-than-life Marvel Marathon so fans can catch a few of their favourites in one session.

With 20 straight number one opening weekends and accounting for six of the top 20 films of all time globally, the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to bring fans compelling characters and unmissable action.

Marvel Studios – The First Ten Years Film Festival will be in season for a limited time only with daily screenings at select locations starting from Sunday August 26th until Saturday September 22nd. Fans can visit Hoyts.co.nz for locations and session times.
