Matt Reeves’ The Batman film looks set to add a star studded cast.
Three new actors are in talks to join Robert Pattinson, Paul Dano and Zoe Kravitz in the upcoming film.
Andy Serkis (Planet of the Apes & Black Panther), who has worked with Reeves in the past, is in discussions to play Bruce Wayne’s lovable butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Michael Cain previously portrayed the role in Christopher Nolan’s Batman films.
While Jonah Hill was previously thought to be playing the role of a villain in the film, with several fans assuming that he’ll portray The Penguin, this has now been confirmed to be false and Colin Farrell (Dumbo, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them) is now in the running to play the well known Batman villain.
Of course, having The Riddler and The Penguin in the film isn’t enough. Matthew McConaughey (Lincoln Lawyer, Interstellar) is reportedly in talks to portray another famous villain in the Batman universe, Harvey Dent a.k.a Two-Face. Though it’s uncertain whether McConaughey will play the character prior to his descent into madness and villainy.
More to news to come.
