First Batman, now his daughter. Ashley Scott will reprise her role as Huntress, a.k.a Helena Kyle in Crisis on Infinite Earths.
In an effort to make the upcoming Arrowverse crossover the biggest yet, Scott will return as Huntress, from the short lived TV series, Birds of Prey, in the five episode crossover.
It’s likely that Rachel Skarsten, who played Dinah Redmond, a.k.a. Black Canary, on the show, will also reprise her role, especially given that she’s now a series regular on Batwoman.
Joining his ‘daughter’ is Bruce Wayne himself! Kevin Conroy, the legendary voice behind Batman in the animated series, was announced to portray an older Batman in the crossover.
Birds of Prey was a 2002 TV series that followed the vigilante, girl power team as they fought crime. The team was led by former Batgirl, Barbara Gordon, a.k.a Oracle, and joined by Huntress and Black Canary.
A version of Huntress has already appeared on Arrow, played by Jessica De Gouw. The character will also make her big screen debut in the upcoming film, Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). She’ll be played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
Crisis on Infinite Earths is shaping up to be the CW’s biggest and most ambitious Arrowverse crossover to date!
