For the first time in history, the Electronics Entertainment Expo (“E3”), held annually in Los Angeles, California, will be open to the public.
The announcement was made this morning on show’s official Twitter account, which details that 15,000 consumer tickets will be available for purchase on 13 February 2017 for an early bird price of $149USD for the first 1,000 tickets and $249USD for the remaining tickets.
Consumers passes will allow entry to the E3 show floor as well as other notable events including “gamer events and discussions with leading video game figures at LA Live.” However, while open to the public, the event “will still have a central media and business component” including a VIP Business Lounge.
E3 2017 will take place in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 13 through June 15. More details will be available at a later date.
