MSI Unveiled Brilliant Gaming & Content Creation Solutions at CES 2020

PRESS RELEASE

At CES 2020, MSI revealed its latest lineup for gamers and creators, along with partnerships with Ubisoft, BlueStacks, Motion Plus Design, and DJ Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s new CS:GO team SMASH.

“As an industry leader in gaming and computing, we strive to help gamers and creators excel; from innovations in display, audio, game lighting and voice control, to Dragon Center and Creator Center software,” said MSI CEO Charles Chiang. “We’re honored to unveil today our latest offerings and partnerships for 2020, driven by years of experience and innovation, and backed by our trusted technology and beautiful designs.”

Deep Connection with Gamers and Creators

With a decade-long devotion to the gaming community under its belt, including sponsoring global esports teams, MSI Gaming Arena tournaments, and even an esports documentary with the Discovery Channel, MSI announced a partnership with the world’s top DJs, DJ Mag, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and their new CS:GO team, SMASH.

“We’re excited to kick off our partnership with MSI, giving us the opportunity to complement our needs as music creators and gamers with the best hardware available,” said DJ Dimitri Thivaios. “We look forward to this next chapter and are ready to take our creative work and gaming to the next level with MSI.”

Since revealing creator-centric laptops in 2018, MSI has worked closely with creators to better understand their needs. MSI’s newly announced partnership with Paris-based Motion Plus Design  will bring more offerings catered to helping motion designers perfect their craft.

MSI-Exclusive AI Duet Display and iOS Device Linking

With Duet Display, gamers and creators can now share their gameplay in real-time, while iOS device linking turns the iOS device into an additional display for collaborative coaching and playing, or content sharing between two users.

MSI-Exclusive Sound Sharing Technology

Powered by Nahimic’s virtual audio device, MSI’s new sound sharing technology makes collaborating easier than ever, allowing friends and colleagues to listen to the same audio during gameplay or creative sessions.

MSI-Exclusive AI Voice Recognition and World’s First In-Game Voice Control

In partnership with Ubisoft, Ghost Recon: Breakpoint players will be able to control in-game actions using voice commands, and synchronizing with MSI’s Mystic Light, players can also modify RGB lighting and hotkeys with voice control.

MSI App Player for Multi-Instance Gameplay

Powered by BlueStacks, MSI App Player allows gamers to play 12 games simultaneously on the same account or across multiple accounts.

“Our longstanding partnership with MSI, and our shared goal of enhancing gamers’ experience has helped us bring mobile gaming to PC,” said CEO of BlueStacks Rosen Sharma. “We’re excited to partner with a brand as committed to the gaming industry as we are, and are working closely with MSI’s team to develop new ways to enjoy gaming to the fullest.”

 Dragon Center 2020

Powered by Overwolf, MSI’s Dragon Center app now features: Game Highlights, which automatically and intelligently creates highlight videos during gameplay that can be shared online; support for Mystic Light on additional gaming titles; and MSI Companion, which provides a shortcut for multi-function controls and display during gameplay.

Creator Center 2020

MSI’s Creator Center software will now feature an integrated AI engine to help detect creators’ most frequently used programs and allocate system resources by priority to more effectively support those programs.

Simulated Reality to Inspire Creativity

In collaboration with Dimenco B.V., MSI is giving everyone a taste of the future with the interactive “Simulated Reality” demo. MSI’s selected laptops now feature autostereoscopic displays that present natural and immersive holograms with which users can interact with bare hands. The Simulated Reality technology offers the most natural, intuitive way to interact with holograms without glasses or headsets and represents the first steps towards the future of Human-Computer Interaction.

Additional products announced at the event included the powerful GE66 Raider, GS66 Stealth and limited-edition gaming laptops, MEG Aegis Ti5 gaming desktop, and the Optix MEG381CQR, MAG342CQR and MAG161 gaming monitors. MSI’s new lineup for creators includes the Creation Series graphics cards, CK40 keyboard, CM30 mouse and CH40 headsets.
