Registration Is Now Open for $10,000 ANZ CS:GO Tournament

LetsPlay.Live (“LPL”) is looking for three teams from across Australia and New Zealand to join their newly announced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (“CS:GO”) Alpha Invitational tournament.

Registration for the qualifiers is now open, with the qualifying tournament taking place Saturday 10th February. The three teams who place at the top of the qualifying will join three professionally invited teams in LPL’s Alpha Invitational series.

Order, Grayhound and Tainted Minds are confirmed as the three professional teams competing in the series.

The Alpha Invitational tournament will consist of 7-weeks of live broadcast, as the six teams compete in round-robin matches followed by a finals series. Matches will take place Thursday nights from the 15 February.

Teams will compete for $10,000 of cash and prizes spread between the top three teams. $5000 for first place, $3000 for second, and $2000 for third.

The CS:GO Alpha Invitational joins the recently announced Dragon Ball FighterZ Arcade Reborn Tour to form the first season of esports action from LPL in 2018.
