Ryan Reynolds and the Deadpool team have signed on to remake the cult classic film, Clue, based on the popular Hasbro game of the same name.
According to Deadline, Reynolds, through his production company, Maximum Effort, has signed a three year, first-look deal with 20th Century Fox to produce the film. It’s likely that Reynolds will star as one of the characters in the film.
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, two of the writers for the Deadpool films, are currently in talks to pen the script. However, no deal has yet been struck.
Development of the film is still in very early days so details are currently rather slim. However, we’ll be seeing Reynolds on the big screen very soon with Deadpool 2 as well as the Detective Pikachu movie, which recently confirmed Reynolds’ involvement.
