Warner Bros. Pictures have cast Ken Jeong and Rob Delaney in the upcoming Tom and Jerry film.
The live-action film is has also cast Jordan Bolger and Pallavi Sharda. The newly announced cast members will join Colin Jost, Chloe Grace Moretz and Michael Pena in the film.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will follow Tom and Jerry after the pair get kicked out of their home and are relocated to a swanky New York hotel.
Tom and Jerry were first created as animated shorts in 1940 by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, and followed the misadventures of Tom, the cat, and Jerry, the mouse as they battled for dominance in a variety of humorous situations. The live action film will come about as part of the duo’s 80th anniversary celebrations next year.
Well known comedian, Ken Jeong, will play a character called Jackie in the film. Rob Delaney, on the other hand, best known for his role as Peter in Deadpool 2, will play DuBros.
Jordan Bolger will play Cameron, while Pallavi Sharda will play Preeta. The film is being directed by Tim Story.
