Rocket League is now on Xbox One

Rocket League, an indie football with cars game by Psyonix, is a sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, in which players control rocket powered vehicles to knock a much larger ball around towards the opposition team’s goal, with the intention of scoring points much like that in the traditional game of football. The game features both single player and multiplayer modes, of which multiplayer allows for total and utter demolition derby-like chaos.

Following its launch on PlayStation 4 and PC in July last year, Rocket League has now been released on Xbox One, with two exclusive cars, the Armadillo from Gears of War and Halo’s Warthog joining the original selection of 14 cars.

Launching across multiple platforms can only mean big things for Rocket League, which has already reached a milestone of 11 million downloads worldwide across PS4 and PC, generating a revenue of more than $50 million. That’s a huge step forward for an indie game.
