Drop in with The Chiefs in Call of Duty: Warzone – Chiefs ESC and Red Bull are offering you the opportunity to squad up with gaming superstars.
Lucky community members will get the opportunity to squad up and battle it out alongside leading talent from Chiefs Esports Club, including world record holder Aaron ‘Lymax’ Butcher and AFL’s Mitch Robinson, in Chiefs ESC Warzone Dropzone.
Launched on Sunday 3 May, fans of the Chiefs ESC now have the opportunity to win a spot on the squad in the Chiefs’ new Call of Duty: Warzone tournament Warzone Drop Zone.
The Red Bull supported tournament, aims to be a feast of banter, laughs and live entertainment, as four squads of community members, captained by Chiefs ESC talent, race to see who can achieve the highest results in Activision’s new battle royale, Call of Duty: Warzone. Running over four weeks, each Sunday a different squad will compete to put their best results up on the leaderboard in the hopes to claim that number one spot.
Not only an opportunity for bragging rights, Drop Zone offered players a chance to learn from Chiefs ESC’s newest talent member, Aaron ‘Lymax’ Butcher, the young Call of Duty player making waves globally for holding multiple world record kills in the game. Last Sunday, Lymax and his squad of community members set the score to beat with a 72-kill victory in their very first game. Lymax will continue providing advice and insight to players throughout the competition, while he waits to see if his squad can maintain the top spot.
Looking to unseat Lymax from his Warzone Drop Zone throne, will be AFL’s Brisbane Lions star Mitch Robinson, FPS and variety streamer KiKi, and FIFA 19 pro Cripsy. They’ll be recruiting squad members over the next three weeks. Community players who feel they have what it takes to reach the top should drop into the Chiefs ESC social channels for their opportunity to lock in to a squad position.
