Cloverfield 4, despite not having an official title or release date set, has already completed filming. The fourth film in the Cloverfield series is all done and dusted even before Cloverfield 3 has an official title!
According to Slashfilm, the working title for the film is Overlord, with a synopsis for the film reading:
“On the eve of D-Day, American paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines to carry out a mission crucial to the invasion’s success. But as they approach their target, they begin to realize there is more going on in this Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation. They find themselves fighting against supernatural forces, part of a Nazi experiment.”
Directed by Julius Avery and starring Wyatt Russell and Jovan Adepo, Overlord is rumoured to release on 26th October, however, with Cloverfield 3 set for release in April, it’s uncertain whether the fourth film will even release this year.
