Microsoft Studios’ highly anticipated, exclusive, open-world, action game, Crackdown 3, featuring popular actor, Terry Crews, has been delayed, yet again.
The game was originally set to release alongside the launch of the Xbox One X console on November 7th but has now been delayed to the first quarter of 2018.
“We’re very excited about Crackdown 3, and so are many fans, and so it’s a difficult call to move the release date,” said Microsoft Studios general manager Shannon Loftis in a statement to Polygon,“However, we want to make sure to deliver the right game, with the right quality, and at the right time.”
“Getting the balance right between the [singleplayer, multiplayer, and co-op] is important, and we are going to take the extra development time to ensure that. Gamers can expect Crackdown 3 in Spring of 2018.”
For those of us in Australia and New Zealand, this means that we can expect the game to be released sometime in Autumn next year. Let’s hope that other Xbox One X launch titles are still on track.
