The highly anticipated streaming service from Disney is launching in Australia and New Zealand!
Disney has today announced that Disney+ will be launching on November 19 in Australia ($8.99AUD per month, $89.99AUD per year) and New Zealand ($9.99NZD per month, $99.99NZD per year).
The announcement marks Disney’s global rollout plans for its streaming service, with the company expecting to be live in “most major global markets within the first two years.”
Disney further announced that the streaming service will support iOS, Apple TV, Android, Android TV, Google Chromecast and Xbox One at launch, giving subscribers more ways to view Disney+ content. It is unclear at this stage whether original programmes such as The Mandalorian, WandaVision and the like will be available at launch.
More news about Disney+ will likely be revealed when the D23 Expo kicks off on August 23rd in Anaheim, California.
