Brace yourselves, pop culture fans, for the Marvel and Star Wars worlds may soon collide in an epic plot twist.
Yesterday, rumours swirled the Internet that Marvel Studios’ President, Kevin Feige, is set to develop a new Star Wars film.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lucasfilm has plans for a new wave of Star Wars projects and that Kevin Feige, himself, is a huge fan of the franchise.
Walt Disney Studios co-chairman Alan Horn said that Lucasfilm’s “Kathleen Kennedy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together.”
With the upcoming Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker yet to premiere, details of the future projects are being kept under wraps.
The move to have Feige involved is a good one, considering the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe under his leadership.
More details will be shared as news breaks.
