PAX Aus 2021

PAX Aus Cancelled for 2021 Due to Ongoing COVID Concerns

The dreaded day has come. PAX Australia, the biggest gaming event in the southern hemisphere, has been cancelled for 2021. No doubt this decision was a difficult one and made in light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation in Australia.

While it’s heartbreaking, the decision is the right one and one that ensures the safety of everyone. Hopefully 2022 will see the gaming community come together to celebrate in a bigger, better and stronger way.

Here’s the official announcement below:

“At the start of the year, the team was optimistic that we’d all be able to come together in person this October, but due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 in Australia, this is no longer possible. PAX Aus will return to Melbourne as a physical event in 2022. The team has announced that they will still be working to bring the PAX community together with PAX Aus Online, taking place October 8-10. More details will be announced in the near future.

All PAX Aus 2021 ticket purchasers are entitled to a full refund. Purchasers will receive information about that refund within the next seven days. The entire PAX Aus Team would like to thank you for your ongoing support and understanding during this challenging time.”

Hopefully, with PAX Aus Online in the works, we’ll be able to bring you some interesting content regardless.
