Samsung Named ‘Most Trusted’ Electronics Brand in New Zealand for Second Consecutive Year

PRESS RELEASE

Samsung has once again been named New Zealand’s ‘Most Trusted Electronics Brand’ in an annual survey by Reader’s Digest.

The results come from an independently commissioned survey, which used a representative sample of 1,600 New Zealand adults on their most trusted brands in 68 categories of products and services across a broad range of industries.

The New Zealanders surveyed were asked what factors influence them to place their trust in a brand. International appeal, and upholding a strong local connection are among the qualities of a trusted brand, along with integrity, quality, consistency and durability. Brands that have great customer service, are reliable, cost effective and innovative, all feature highly in the survey.

Samsung placed 9th overall as ‘Most Trusted Brand’ and also received ‘Highly Commended’ nods in the Large Kitchen Appliances and Laundry Appliances categories.

Jens Anders, Sales Director for Samsung’s Consumer Electronics division said the results reflected Samsung’s commitment to providing New Zealanders with innovative and reliable technology.

“We are thrilled to be named the ‘Most Trusted Electronics Brand’ for the second year in a row. The recent launch of our Q900 QLED 8K premium TV range was a local first and our team is proud to be spearheading the launch of new technology in New Zealand, and delivering the best possible experience for our customers,” Mr. Anders said.

The Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brand survey is now in its 20th year. The full list of winners has been published on the Trusted Brands website.
