After months of speculation, rumours and leaks, a remastered trilogy of the much loved Spyro the Dragon games have been announced!
The Spyro: Reignited Trilogy was revealed earlier this morning with a gorgeous trailer that showcased the updated graphics for the remastered trilogy, Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage! and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
The announcement also revealed that Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will be released on 21 September on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
At present, no details have been revealed on whether the remastered trilogy will be ported over to the Nintendo Switch. However, with Crash Bandicoot: The N. Sane Trilogy recently being announced to release on the Switch, hopefully Spyro will receive the same treatment.
