HyperX Wins Multiple iF DESIGN AWARDS 2018

HyperX yesterday announced that the HyperX Cloud Flight wireless gaming headset and HyperX Alloy Elite RGB gaming keyboard are winners of the 2018 iF DESIGN AWARDS.

HyperX Cloud Flight wireless gaming headset, which was announced earlier this year at CES 2018, has received the iF DESIGN AWARD in the Gaming Hardware category. With unique features including up to 30 hours of battery life, HyperX signature memory foam and compatibility on multiple platforms, it enables gamers with an immersive gaming experience. A previous winner of the iF DESIGN AWARD is the HyperX Cloud Stinger gaming headset, having won in 2017 for product design in the headset category. It was recognised for its comfort, audio quality and design detail.

The second product to be acknowledged for design excellence in 2018 is the HyperX Alloy Elite RGB gaming keyboard, offering colour customisation with NGenuity software. The Alloy Elite RGB keyboard allows up to three different custom lighting profiles that can be saved directly to the keyboard’s on-board memory for on-the- go lighting. Alloy Elite RGB is built with a solid steel frame, offers dedicated media buttons, a large volume wheel along with quick access buttons for brightness, lighting effects, game mode and features pass-through USB 2.0 port.

“The success can only be achieved through the diligence of the global HyperX product design team,” said HyperX. “This passionate team of engineers worked together to achieve the ultimate goal of being the top gaming accessories brand in the world. Whether you play on a PC, console or mobile device, We’re All Gamers.”

The iF DESIGN AWARD is now in its 65th year and is a globally recognised trademark of design excellence. This year saw over 6,400 entries from 54 countries across seven design disciplines, with a panel of 63 design experts judging each category. The prestigious award bestowed upon HyperX for the second time in as many years, recognises the products for their quality of design and build.
