MSI Redefines The Compact Gaming PC with Trident X Series

MSI continues to innovate its desktop product line building upon its strong heritage of delivering the first desktop built for professional gamers. Today, MSI proudly introduces the brand new Trident X Series with the latest MSI GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card and the Intel® 9th Gen Core™ K series processors.

The MSI Trident X series is the first compact desktop PC to incorporate an SFX power supply with the world’s fastest gaming graphics thanks to the latest MSI GeForce RTX graphics card, all into a case that’s just 10 liters in volume. Trident X series targets gamers who demand the highest game performance from their PC system. With Intel® 9th Gen Core™ K series processors and MSI GeForce RTX graphics, Trident X provides impressive performance for any task including gaming and video editing.

To be the best – gamers require intense processing power and expect their devices to reflect who they are, that is, Powerful, Professional and ready to multitask. The Intel® 9th Gen Core™ K series processors in Trident X provide 50% more performance than the previous generation. On top of the state-of-art technology and a refined design, Trident X is the ultimate platform for professional gamers who enjoy multitasking. In addition to this, MSI has listened to the feedback of our users and have carefully selected and tweaked the components within Trident X to achieve the best performance for hardcore gaming while streaming.

TEMPERED GLASS SIDE PANEL, COMBINING FUNCTIONALITY AND STYLE

After the release in 2017, the design of MSI’s tempered glass side panel has been well praised by gamers and users across the world. Trident X series carries this legacy with its door-like tempered glass side panel. Users can easily swap out the default metal side panel with the included tempered glass panel, allowing you to easily swing the glass panel open like a door. In turn allowing you to easily access and upgrade processors, memory or hard drives without hassle. The included mesh design on the bottom part of the glass also helps ventilate the heat from CPU, giving Trident X series long-term sustainability. What’s even better is that the CPU RGB fan is made visible through the glass panel, giving Trident X series a strong yet stylish look.

UPGRADE WITHOUT HASSLE

With users’ convenience in mind, MSI is always trying to create the most intuitive design possible. Trident X series is designed with all the major components located on the sides of its chassis, making it easy for users to change and upgrade hardware. All you have to do is to remove  four screws in the back, and the metal cover on both sides easily remove from the compact chassis. Taking off the panel on the right allows you to change the CPU, memory and hard drives, or for switching itself to the tempered glass panel. The left one is for accessing the graphics card. MSI has taken care and consideration with our design approach, and have ensured hardware most likely to be upgraded is the easiest to access for users.

MSI EXCLUSIVE COOLING SYSTEM

MSI’s unique “Silent Storm Cooling” thermal system utilises three separate airflow paths to individually cool different components within Trident X. Meaning your system stays cool no matter how hard you push the system. Outstanding thermal performance help make the Trident X an ideal fit for AAA game titles and social livestream broadcasting.

RGB LIGHTING BRINGS THE TRIDENT X TO LIFE

Trident X series preserves our gorgeous MSI light design and effects that was first used in Trident 3 Arctic. Lights have been optimised from the original pure color design into three different light strings that give layers to their glows. Users can easily customise the lighting effects through built-in software, making their Trident X system shine based on different modes including static, breathing or sync with audio.

When playing shooting games for instance, lights change when the system detects key sound signal in the game – illuminating as players fires shots to offer ultimate design immersion. Together with  built-in RGB lights on the fans of the CPU and graphics card, Trident X series has a look that matches any gamers setup.
