Halloween Kills & Halloween Ends

Blumhouse CEO, Jason Blum, took to Twitter to announce not one, but two, sequels for 2018’s Halloween. These two new movies will be filmed back to back with Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her role as Laurie Strode.

Horror legend, John Carpenter, is back as well as Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, the team behind last year’s smash hit sequel.

The first of the two films, Halloween Kills, slashes its way into cinemas on October 16, 2020. The second film, Halloween Ends, stalks its way onto our screens on October 15, 2021.

The Walking Dead Movie

AMC has revealed a short teaser trailer for the upcoming The Walking Dead movie, which takes places adjacent to the series and follows a certain character. Spoiler warning: don’t watch the trailer if you’re not up to date.

Not much is known about the project yet, but AMC is teaming up with Universal Pictures to make the film. No official release date for the film has been announced.

This event ushers in a new era for the Arrowverse, with Arrow itself coming to an end and the addition of the Batwoman series, played by Ruby Rose.

With both Tyler Hoechlin as Supergirl’s version of Superman and now Brandon Routh playing another version of the Man of Steel, the cross-over event is set to be a gamechanger.

What’s Coming to Your Consoles and Video Game Playing Devices

GTA Online Diamond Casino and Resort Update

While Ubisoft is closing the book on Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and Ghost Recon: Wildlands, Rockstar Games is bringing a new expansion to GTA Online with the Diamond Casino and Resort update.

This update gives players the ability to gamble on blackjack, poker and even horse racing. If gambling isn’t your thing, penthouses will be available to buy and can be outfitted with everything a living-large crime lord needs. How does one become The Godfather without a movie theatre or spa right there in their own home?

The update drops on the 23rd of July.

Gears 5 Tech Test

The Gears 5 tech test kicked off this weekend on Xbox. Players were able to take on other players in Versus mode, survive the swarm or drop a bomb and get the hell out of there in the Escape mode.

The tech test is available all weekend. Try it out for yourself if you have pre-ordered on the Xbox store or if you have a Game Pass subscription.

Gears 5 chainsaws its way into stores and on the Xbox store on September 9th or if you’ve pre-ordered the ultimate edition 5th of September for both Xbox and PC.

As always with Microsoft exclusives, Gears 5, will be available day and date in Game Pass for subscribers.
