Throwdown Esports have announced that Season 2 of the Rocket League OCE Championship (RLOC) has opened for registration, providing ANZ teams a pathway to the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) finals and a record $1,000,000 prize pool.

The RLOC will be open to teams located in the ANZ region and will run for nine weeks, with the finals taking place on October 14. The winners of the RLOC will access a $50,000USD prize pool, with two teams progressing to the RLCS finals, and a chance to claim part the recording breaking $1 million that is up for grabs – more than double the prize in 2017.

“RLOC Season 1 was a huge success with over 150 teams taking part, with local teams Tainted Minds and Chiefs progressing to last season’s finals,” stated George Cordalis, Throwdown Esports Manager. “I’m sure we will see even more players and teams signing up this season, to test their skills and try to claim the two qualification spots available, and a chance to win part of that huge $1 million prize.”
