CD Projekt Red Announces Gameplay Stream For Cyberpunk 2077

Anticipation is high for CD Projekt Red’s open world cyberpunk RPG, Cyberpunk 2077. Fans of the won’t have to wait long to get another taste of what Night City has in store for us.

On the official Cyberpunk.net site, the studio announced the time and date of the next gameplay reveal.

“Next week we’re going to host a stream during which we’ll unveil a 15-minute edit of what we’ve been showing to journalists and gamers here at Gamescom, and then interview devs from the studio for additional information on what you just saw. Expect a lot of insight into the thought process behind creative decisions, information about Pacifica—one of the districts of Night City—and TONS of stuff on playstyles you’ll be able to adopt when you launch Cyberpunk 2077 next year.”

The stream will be hosted Hollie Bennett, former co-host of PlayStation Access. The reveal also includes members of the development team talking through points of interest in the gameplay.

The gameplay stream is scheduled for 31 August at 4 am AEST.

While some fans weren’t all that happy about the announcement, hoping that CDPR would bring something akin to last year’s 48-minute gameplay reveal, next week’s 15-minute long gameplay plus a hosted talk with the team behind the game, will no doubt be just as interesting and insightful.

To satiate fans until next week, CDPR has released a series of screenshots including one of a cyberpunk riding a very Akira inspired motorbike.
