From the comic book characters to science-fiction creatures, Doug Jones has made a name for himself in the pop culture world. Now, the well-known actor is making his way to Oz Comic-Con Melbourne this June!
One of the world’s most successful character actors, Jones has brought to life iconic characters including the Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Abe Sapien in Hellboy. More recently, he portrays Commander Saru in CBS’ critically acclaimed series, Star Trek Discovery.
For those who may not be familiar with Jones’ body of work, he has built a strong relationship with Guillermo del Toro, appearing as both Fauno and the Pale Man in Pan’s Labyrinth and the Amphibian Man in the Academy Award-winning film, The Shape of Water.
Jones will be appearing throughout the weekend at Oz Comic-Con in Melbourne alongside previously announced guest, Rachel Skarsten. He will be participating in a range of Q&A panels, as well as photo and autograph opportunities with fans.
