Independent studio, Spiders, have announced the release date for their upcoming game, Greedfall.
The announcement comes with a brand-new trailer for the open-world RPG.
The French developer’s newest game will hit shelves and digital stores for PS4, Xbox One and PC on September 10th this year.
While giving us an insight into the world of Greedfall, the trailer also shows off some gameplay mechanics, including fighting, weapon and armour customization, along with the reveal that crafting and gear will play a big role in exploring this new world.
With a 17th century aesthetic combining the look and feel of both the English and Spanish empires of the time, it looks like choices and consequences will play a very important part in telling this story.
First revealed in 2017, the newest open-world game sees the player exploring a cursed island trying to find a cure for a disease that is now plaguing the mainland.
The game also sees the player take on the role of a colonial who goes up against all kinds of monsters, demons, magic and island natives.
